Question by Samantha: Why don’t they teach certain things in health education?
I believe sex education should be more open and less from the book. By the time you get to high school you know what a vagina looks like right? Instead of teaching anatomy they should be talking about masturbation, rape, oral sex, etc. I’m not saying they should talk about oral sex being good or anything ,but they should talk about important issues. I was suprised they did talk about condoms..

they aren’t supposed to actually teach how to have the act of sex, it’s supposed to be more about anatomy and the reproductive organs and all that. And depending on where you live, they teach abstinence only, so they can’t teach you about oral sex. Pregnancy and STD prevention along with the anatomy and reproductive organs is what sex ed is supposed to be. it’s more to educate you about that area of the body.
